She refuses to sleep alone, doesn't eat well, and I can NOT put her down. She's throwing those one-year-old-tantrums that are less funny than Zalah's terrible-twos.
(Yes, she's saying "Oh my god!")
Zalah meanwhile, can tell me what she wants, and even though its sort of a pain to raise a child who wants to do things herself and make a huge mess in process, its something I know they need to do. Her new thing is feeding herself cereal with milk and you'd better not try to hold the spoon for her. But she's learning, and she likes to feed Lyla too. She does a lot of freelance art on anything, still rips apart books, and asks questions about everything; more so "whatcha doin?" and "wuzzat?" more than the dreaded "why?" but I can feel it coming...
Although she's becoming independent, I do notice she likes to be by herself sometimes in social situations as well. I'm starting to see the formations of a personality even more so now than before. She's definitely smart, easily frustrated and sometimes likes her space, but I think she'll be very close and true to her friends and family, and an overall caring person.
Lyla...well Lyla just screams.
She's starting to nod her head and say some words, which is cute. The best is when she says 'yes' but looks just like a fish flapping its mouth really quickly. I'll try to get a video of that one.
Looking back, my descriptions of them when I started this blog might not be the same today. It makes me wonder, what really is their personality and what really is just the age they are in? Because Lyla, like Zalah, has a bad case of the 'terrible-ones'.
